We Are Saved

December 7th
The readings were Psalm 126, Isaiah 40:1-11, Rom 8:22-25.

In Psalm 126 the author had just been through exile with Babylon and has new found joy in the Lord. The text in Isaiah also mentions comfort, about how towards Jerusalem God has pardoned it’s sin, and the peaceful way of the Lord. Romans further makes a point on waiting on the Lord with patience, particularly for the redeption of our bodies. Visually it was a but tricky for me to figure what to present. So this is why I settled on the imagery in Isaiah 40:11 of God gathering the lambs (His children) in His arms.
